Winners of Foundation & Endowment Money Management's 9th Annual Nonprofit Awards for Excellence were announced on Monday, September 21, 2009. Proudly presented by Institutional Investor Awards and Information Management Network (IMN), the awards recognize the foundations, endowments, consultants, marketers and investment managers who stood out for their successes, achievements and contributions over the past year. Nominees and winners were selected by the editorial team of Institutional Investor's Foundation & Endowment Money Management (FEMM) newsletter following their industry-wide due diligence. Winners were announced and awarded at the dinner and ceremony, which hosted over 150 leaders from every facet of nonprofit investing for a night of celebration and networking. Among those honored was, Ed Hunia, the former CIO of Kresge Foundation, who received FEMM's 2009 Lifetime Achievement Award.

This year's event also celebrated the Rising Stars of Foundations & Endowments.
