Spitz Named Lifetime Achievement Winner

Thirty-Six Nominees To Compete For 12 Awards

FEMM has announced the nominees for its 2008 Nonprofit Awards For Excellence. They include five awards for foundations and endowments, another five for asset managers, in addition to accolades for a consultant and a marketer. William Spitz, former treasurer and cio of Vanderbilt University, is the recipient of this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Winners of the other 12 awards will be announced at a dinner on Sept. 21 in Phoenix, Ariz., hosted in conjunction with Information Management Network.
